Tauranga Ski Club has been based on Mt Ruapehu since the 1950s, started by a group of keen young skiers and snowboarders from the Bay of Plenty. Over the decades, it’s grown into a close-knit, community-driven club made up of families, long-time members, and new faces alike.

With two great spots to stay, one on Whakapapa ski field and another in National Park village, the club offers year-round access to the mountain and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
